Scouts are all aged between 10 and 14. They meet on a Friday between 7pm and 9pm.

Below is an example of a summer term programme for Scouts. Please note that this is to give you an idea of what we get up to, all terms are different and we probably won’t do exactly the same activities again in future.

Start of Term
Meeting ideas, team building games, programme planning.

Town Quiz
Scouts do a quiz around Chichester.

St. Georges day parade
Annual St Georges Day Parade

Teambuilding, problem solving and leadership activities.

Table top refugees
What would happen if the Scouts suddenly became refugees?

Axe & Saw
Axe and Saw Training

Evening organised by the Patrol Leaders

Wide Games
Wide games at Brandy Hole Copse.

Map Reading / Canoeing
Based at Hunston jetty. Half Scouts do Canoeing, half do a map reading activity.

Map Reading / Canoeing II
Based at Hunston Jetty.  Same as last week, only swapped around.

Box Karting, with Steve from Cubs.

Mongolian Night
Mongolian themed night, in preparation for WS summer camp (we are in the mongol sub-camp).

Practice tent pitching in preparation for summer camp.

Water Fight/BBQ
End of term, fun activities.
